Who We Are

The word cargo refers in particular to goods or produce being conveyed – generally for commercial gain – by ship, boat, or aircraft, although the term is now often extended to cover all types of freight, including that carried by train, van, truck, or intermodal container. The term cargo is also used in case of goods in the cold-chain, because the perishable inventory is always in transit towards a final end-use, even when it is held in cold storage or other similar climate-controlled facility.

What We Do

Multi-modal container units, designed as reusable carriers to facilitate unit load handling of the goods contained, are also referred to as cargo, specially by shipping lines and logistics operators. Similarly, aircraft ULD boxes are also documented as cargo, with associated packing list of the items contained within. When empty containers are shipped each unit is documented as a cargo and when goods are stored within, the contents are termed as containerised cargo.

They helped us buy our first truck, now I got 2 trucks and I’m home running my business – they sold me the same truck I drove for them so that helped alot.

This is a great company to work for. You never worry about whether you will be paid. It on time and correct, if there are discrepancies, they fix it right away. You drive the latest, most well-maintained equipment on the road. After some time on the fleet, the fleet owner will help if you have any desire to become an owner yourself. These guys try to make you feel as if you are dealing with family. I would and have referred my own parents to Exam Transport.

I start working with Exam last year during the pandemic, as a on call local medical courier. Great company to work for, even better people to work with. Basically my job was delivering samples, supplies, STATs between ERs and Hospitals in the area using my personal vehicle. Very easy to start, they will have someone guide you through about everything you need to know in the beginning, once you are ready, you just wait for you dispatchers to call. The dispatchers are all very friendly and helpful, whether you have a question about the order, or you are having a hard time finding the pickup/drop off location, they will try thier best to help you out. You will get calls 24/7, I personally prefer to take STATs at night because not only there’s no traffic but also it pays even more. Overall, great experience. If you are looking for a side hustle, or if you already doing ride shares in Orlando area, definitely check them out, this could be a great opportunity for you to earn some GOOD extra money.

This is my first experience with any transportation company as I am new to the specialized freight industry, so I did my homework. After working with them for almost 8 months, I can honestly say that I made the right decision. Going from the corporate world to a “blue collar” job, Exam has me working in comfort, style, and with peace of mind. Why didn’t I do this sooner? Exam personnel are always there if needed, and their warm and caring demeanor make us feel like we are part of the family. I couldn’t imagine a better fleet owner. The otr trucks for specialized freight are mostly new, with all kitchen and bathroom amenities. The best feature is the support staff. If I really worked at finding a negative comment, the only thing I can think of is a 1 to 2 hour wait for approvals when getting maintenance done. I’m sure there are other fleets out there have more negatives than that based on my networking. Exam’s trucks are well maintained and modern. Paychecks are on time, and we have no worries. Exam earned our trust. After reading some negative reviews (one was by a competitor I spoke to), I was skeptical in the beginning, but I had no reason to be. We highly recommend!
